When the Kennedy Space Center needed to update its retail stores, OPTO was eager to help. Our mission was to fully outfit those spaces with flexible, functional retail displays and signage fixtures to maximize real estate and celebrate NASA’s rich history. So, of course, “Failure was not an option!” Teaming with PGAV Architects, RGLA Architects and long-standing partner Delaware North, some of the brightest minds in the retail design and management industries, OPTO proudly accepted that mission. Leveraging our collective retail experience and OPTO’s versatile fixture collections, we were able to deliver modular merchandising solutions to promote the Kennedy Space Center’s various product categories including apparel, toys, books, collectibles, food and beverage items, as well as various space memorabilia. The result was an amazing retail experience that helped celebrate the evolution of NASA and U.S. space exploration.
